Dr. Tan Ngo is a native Houstonian, born and raised in Houston. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and a minor in European Studies. After working several years in the field, he did not find fulfillment and began to explore other careers. He went on to find his purpose and passion in dentistry. He witnessed how much of a positive impact he could have on people’s lives by simply improving their smile. Dr. Ngo went on to complete a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston and has not looked back since.

Dr. Ngo founded Smiles of Fulshear in hopes of providing his patients with the utmost quality care that is responsive to each patient’s needs. He keeps up with the ever-evolving field of dentistry by utilizing the latest innovative materials and cutting-edge technology available in the field to provide the best in efficiency and ease of patient care. His practice is focused on family, implant and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Ngo’s philosophy in dentistry comes from the old adage, “Give a man a fish and you can feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you’ve fed him for a lifetime.” He focuses on educating, empowering, and giving patients the necessary tools to lead a healthier life—improving the quality of people’s lives one smile at a time.

Fun Fact: Dr. Ngo enjoys fishing, playing volleyball and basketball whenever his schedule permits.
